The Jackson County School System is led by Dr. April Howard, superintendent.

Todd Nickelsen is the assistant superintendent for teaching and learning. Our operations team includes the departments that support students and staff.

The principals of our 10 schools report directly to the superintendent, as do Dr. Selena Blankenship, director of human resources; and Karen Bridgeman, communications coordinator.

Student Services, which includes our school psychologists, social workers, and nursing and counselor services, also are part of this organization.
