Operations

The Jackson County School System operations team is responsible for serving thousands of meals; driving a million miles on nearly 100 buses; maintaining 10 schools, their playgrounds, and athletic fields, as well as several other facilities; and responsibly managing a budget that ensures the highest and best use of local, state and federal tax dollars and donations.

The infrastructure that supports the education of the students of Jackson County includes departments and directors of School Nutrition, Dr. Debra Morris; Transportation, Mr. David Farmer; Plant Services, Mr. Dennis Patrick; and Finance, Ms. Annah Dodge.
