Annah Dodge joined the Jackson County School System in December 2013 as the Assistant Finance Director and was named Director of Finance in September 2014. She has more than 20 years of experience in governmental accounting, including 10 years of administrative functions in the area of school system finances and 11 years as an auditor with the Georgia Department of Audits & Accounts. She graduated from the University of North Georgia in June 1996 with dual accounting and finance majors and earned her Certificate of Public Accountancy (CPA) in May 1998. Ms. Dodge serves on the board of directors for the Georgia Association of School Business Officials. She and her husband, Nick, reside next door in Banks County with their two teenage sons, Cody and Jake.
The finance department leads the Jackson County School System’s business efforts in support of the education process and on behalf of our students, staff, and stakeholders.
It is responsible for managing all aspects of JCSS’s financial activities, including budgeting, receiving, and distributing local, state and federal funds.
